Cutting Up The Sopranos

Caught the Quannum show a few nights back. Great to see the whole crew together, but the main attraction was DJ Shadow's DVD turntable. He can scratch a DVD up on video screens the same way he slices up wax. Coolest thing since the 1200s came out. A must see if this thing comes to your town. It's no strech to say this thing is gonna be absolutely huge. BTW, Shadow isn't just a production guru, but can cut with the best of 'em.

Less is Murs

Eminem once admitted he'd move less units if his skin was a few shades darker. Now Murs explores the subject on his new LP, which is hella raw, poignant and boasts 9th Wonder's production on every track. Here's how I wrote it up in URB.
